YOU can help LAUNCH children into a successful school year!

Think back to when you were a child and remember the anticipation of starting into a new school year. Maybe your experience of going back to school was one of excitement, or maybe one of anxiousness and dread. Whatever it was you felt in this season, we know it's an extremely vital time for children.

Our passion is to come alongside school-aged kids and help bring HOPE and RESOURCES to them as they launch into the new school year. Sometimes kids are nervous to go back to school because they don't feel as if they are good enough, smart enough, [you fill in the blank] enough. Sometimes they feel embarrassed simply because they don't have sufficient supplies, backpacks, etc. We are here to respond to all of those needs.

Through our annual Back to School Bash, we firstly offer HOPE. We speak life into the kids that come through the festival. We call out the gold we see in them, we speak to their strengths, we believe in them, and call them to believe in themselves! As we partner with other businesses & churches in the community, we collectively create an atmosphere of love & acceptance where kids feel excited about life and feel ready to move forward into a vibrant school year. We shower these children & parents with the life-giving message of a God who has created them in His very own image and lives them more than they could ever possibly comprehend.

Secondly, we offer RESOURCES. Often, we need to meet people in the physical realm before we earn the right to speak into them emotionally & spiritually. Meeting physical needs provides an on-ramp into the deeper relational work that really changes lives. At the Back to School Bash we offer everything FREE! We give out backpacks filled with school supplies, a new pair of shoes, haircuts done by professional stylists, physicals, dental screenings, a BBQ lunch, and more! We also infuse the park with fun through games, waterslides & bounce houses, face painting, and crafts to name a few!
